Nome Schoolhouse, Mill and Barn Tour

Enjoy an 1.5 hour tour with a school group, an organization or just you and your friends. Your guide will take you throughout the Schoolhouse, showing you renovations, classrooms and more. You will also tour the Fiber Mill, where the team takes raw shorn fleeces and turns them into yarn, felt and fiber for use in many needle crafts. Finally, you can visit with the fiber flock in the barn that includes sheep, alpacas, goats and our mini Highland cow Walter.

Afterwards, you can have a meal in our dining room. On Wed.-Friday, we are serving lunch 11am to 2pm, and dinner 4pm to 8pm. (Dining is not included in the tour purchase)

Our retail store is open 9-4 Mon.-Tues., and 9-8 Wed.-Fri. The store is open 9-12 Saturday.
