Exotic & Specialty Fiber Sample Pack

Exotic & Specialty Fiber sample pack takes you beyond traditional sheep's wool and into the diverse world of non-sheep textiles. These four fibers represent the extremes of the fiber world: from the plant-based silkiness of Bamboo to the ultra-luxury "halo" of Rabbit. These fibers are almost never used on their own for yarn or crafts but instead blended with sheep's wool to create structure.
Unlike the other animal-based fibers in this pack, Bamboo is a cellulose fiber, cool to the touch, incredibly smooth, and heavy in "drape."
Mohair comes from the Angora Goat (not to be confused with the rabbit!) It has long, strong fibers. It is famous for its "halo": a fuzzy, blurred effect that traps heat without adding weight.
Alpaca is the "soft gold" of the Andes. It is buttery soft and significantly warmer than sheep’s wool.
Angora Rabbit is the softest fiber in the pack and likely the softest thing you will ever touch. It weighs nearly nothing and is seven times warmer than sheep's wool.
